On Saturday, February 11th Torc Yoga hosted a Paint Flow yoga event during Love Week for Valentine’s Day. All ages both male and female joined in for this class. Can you picture it a class full of people engaged in yoga and painting with at the same time? Wether you had a Valentine or not– this event was perfect for Self-Love Saturday which is a day of celebrating self-love to create the happiest and healthiest relationship with oneself.
The class was lead by Jennifer Holford a 26 year old freelance yoga instructor from Glenolden, PA.
She lead everyone in a two hours Paint Flow inspired by Vinyasa yoga. Vinyasa is a series of free-flow movements like Chaturanga into Down-Ward Facing Dog then into Upward Facing Dog. Although things did get a bit slippery with paint covered toes everyone was safe and had a blast.
Check out some of my Instastory of the event:
Although most of my followers on social media that engaged in the poll never participated in Paint Flow tons of them were interested in going.
My favorite part had to be covering my hands and feet in paint and completely letting out my inner child. I just couldn’t stop picking new colors and letting my body do the painting. It definitely was my favorite part of the entire event.
Have your ever done Paint Yoga? If not, would you be interested in going?
